This project is a huge and remarkable project within the whole oil and gas industry in Middle East and North Africa due to the size and due to the fact that it provides the first fixed connection in form of a pipeline between Africa and Europe. For independent and secured transportation of voice and data information a TETRA System is one of the major parts of the telecommunication backbone. In order to fulfill the high safety and back-up requirements the TETRA system is full-redundant. T.E.S.S. was consulted to perform the Project Management on behalf of the TETRA System Vendor in order to solve the critical situation which the project Roll-Out went into.

The TESS project team could successfully perform the contract milestones such as FAT, SAT and Final Acceptance. Aside of the technical competence a high political and strategically potential was required to lead into a good co-operation between all parties involved.
